Chapada dos Guimarães is a destination that really surprised me! It is possible to see a great diversity of the Cerrado, ranging from low vegetation to large trees &#8211; this variation is something that I found very curious and beautiful. The landscapes formed by the gigantic sandstone walls transport you back in time, making you think about what the region was like millions of years ago, when the sea still took over. Visiting the Aroe Jari Caves complex was also a remarkable experience, it is possible to feel a very strong energy in that place, and connect with the history of the Bororo indigenous people. I definitely recommend this expedition!
