Testimony from those who have already lived this experience

Vilalá won my heart right away with her ideals and her proposal, but living this experience in my body was even more incredible than I could have imagined. Not just getting to know Rio Negro but experiencing a little bit of this wonderful place and this rich community – it definitely left an impression on me. And I intend to return!!

My first trip with Vivalá was in November 2021 to Río Negro and it will always stay with me. It was my first solo trip and I had never felt so good and so welcomed anywhere. This trip represented, from beginning to end, warmth and freedom. I cherish all the moments I experienced and all the people I met.

“What a sensational job! Both from the local community, Gabs, Chiquim, and Vivalá! Knowing that 40% of the value of Vivalá goes to the local community is wonderful! Huge affection for everyone! A very impactful trip! I was very happy and, At all times, I felt super safe!! Thank you for this incredible trip!”

“I can’t express in words everything we experienced there, but I’ll try. We watched beautiful sunsets, explored the Amazon Rainforest and drank Cupuaçu caipirinhas in the river with dolphins 🐬 swimming around us. We also ate delicious food and learned a lot about the culture and the community’s way of life. We watched the sunrise in a canoe and shared many other memories.”

“I had a unique experience of contemplating nature, but mainly of immersing myself in the culture of the riverside people! A truly sustainable tourism, I recommend it without a doubt 🙂 What Vivalá proposes really goes beyond anything I have experienced on previous trips, it is truly transformative!”

I heard sounds for the first time, I had visions that until then were only recorded by images and became real there. A fantastic feeling, an indescribable nature, a strong people. I felt even more Brazilian when I got to know our country in its Amazonian essence, in its diversity and community. Vivalá Amazônia, Rio Negro and Acajatuba! You will never leave my mind and my heart.

I’ve already taken a few trips through Vivalá and Rio Negro was the most special. In addition to the immersive experience in nature and with the local community, the team pays immense attention, preparation and care to the trip and the group, always paying attention to details. I even recommend New Year’s Eve, which made the trip even more special! I went on the trip alone and it was amazing, I met a lot of incredible people 🙂

“This week, I feel like I lived 1 month. Time passes slower and we see that we are in another Brazil, different from what I’m used to here in Rio. I fell in love with the place, the people, the food, our group of travelers! I thank everyone who spent these days with us, especially our hosts from Acajatuba. Thank you for showing us your culture and a little piece of your life!
