Testimony from those who have already lived this experience

Transformative experience! My expectations for the experience were high and they still exceeded them. They were very intense days, of internal connection and with the entire group. It was a great opportunity to be truly present. Getting to know the culture of our original peoples was a great learning experience, they are a people who have unique knowledge. The experience allows you to rethink your relationship with yourself, with nature, with food, water and your relationships. It was all very beautiful, there are no words to describe how incredible an immersion it was. I met wonderful people who became friends for life. I can’t wait to go back!

It was beautiful, from the emotion of arrival, (heart exploding), the whole experience of staying in the village, of being welcomed by them, of experiencing each day, of having the opportunity to consecrate medicine with the indigenous people was sensational, a unique experience Is unforgettable. I’m still numb, trying to get back to a “normal” life, I only came back because Dona Teresa didn’t want to adopt me (whoever is, will meet her, best food ever lol). Not only do I recommend it, I can’t wait to go back there. Being in the forest, with people who love, respect and fight for the forest to remain standing, made me admire the fight, the cause even more and value the indigenous people who fought and are now gone, and also those who continue to fight. I loved the experience, I thank God, my guides, Vivalá for the experience and guidance throughout the process. Aah and the team at Vivalá is sensational, I highly recommend them, their care, attention and great professionalism.

This trip was one of the most profound and certainly unique experiences of my life, where I was able to intensely experience the culture of the Shanenawa people. It’s an internal and external experience, where I was reborn to everything that matters and perhaps I was disconnected because of so much noise that the city brings. I experienced a very important emotional and psychological healing process. Externally, living day to day, contact with the forest, exchanging conversations, eating organic food, playing with children, bathing in a pond and consecrating indigenous medicines with so much care and respect was a milestone for me. And it changed everything. Taking this trip means knowing that nothing in life will ever be the same again (and that’s good!). I highly recommend Vivalá, this was my second expedition with them and I will certainly do more. Their organization, structure and care from the beginning to the end of the expedition is unique. And the Shanenawa people became family to me! So go, just go!

The expedition to the Shanenawa village was amazing. I really enjoyed the immersion in nature, the music, the interaction with the incredible people of the village that remain in my heart. Not to mention the group, which was very diverse, but everyone was in the same vibe!

“The most incredible experience I’ve had in my life! The experience is wonderful and everyone in the village makes a point of making you feel at home. The facilities are simple but very well prepared. For those who want to have this contact with the Amazon rainforest, feel the calling and want to learn from the original peoples, I highly recommend this experience.”

“I was looking for expeditions involving nature to do with my son João, aged 7. It was exciting from beginning to end. Upon arriving at the village we were welcomed and welcomed by the Shanenawa people, they involved us in their dances, songs and circles with great respect and attention. The conversations about medicine were very important to understand, reassure and venture further into the experience. A place to reconnect, feel and experience the strength of nature, reflect, get to know, learn and love with the people from the heart. pure and full of love.”

‘An immersion inside the Shanenawá village, which opened a new perspective on what it’s like to live fully integrated with the forest, surrounded by respect, love and lots of joy. The freedom of children, the rescue of our origins. When I closed the suitcase I started to miss that energy that is magical to me.”

“Since the group’s arrival, I felt very welcomed, everyone treated us in a very loving way throughout. In addition to all the learning about plants and forest medicine, I learned a lot about affection and care. Village life is about sharing and caring I enjoyed all the activities and the time we were together, but the constant teaching about the forest, its plants and animals resonates with me to this day. as the indigenous people say.”

It is hard to put into words what this experience was. A week living unforgettable moments with the Shanenawa people in their land. A joyful, brave people, welcoming, fun, respectful of the forest and conscious of its grandiosity, who sing, dance. There have been so many moments that I still catch myself reflecting on how transformative this trip was. My chest tightens with longing since the moment of departure, but the heart is still warm because I now have my forest family! Soon I will be back to hug and dance together around the bonfire! I am eternally grateful to the Amazonian people.
